TEST SERIES DETAILS

Rajasthan Judicial Services Exam Overview: The RJS selection involves three successive stages:

  • Preliminary Examination – a qualifying objective test
  • Main Examination – descriptive written papers assessing legal acumen
  • Viva-Voce (Interview) – personal assessment of judicial temperament and communication skills

Prelims Examination Pattern-

  • Format: 100 multiple-choice questions (OMR-based)
  • Marks: 100 (70% Law syllabus, 15% Hindi, 15% English)
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Negative Marking: None
  • Qualifying Nature: Marks not included in final merit; sectional cut-offs apply.

Main Examination Structure-

  • Paper I – Civil Law (100 marks, 3 hours)
  • Paper II – Criminal Law (100 marks, 3 hours)
  • Paper III – Hindi Essay & Precis (50 marks, 2 hours)
  • Paper IV – English Essay & Precis (50 marks, 2 hours)
  • Descriptive: Concept-based answers, judgment writing, charge framing.

Interview Stage-Marks: 35

Evaluation Criteria: Judicial knowledge, general awareness, personality, ethical integrity, and communication skills.
