Alisha Idrisi
Alisha Idrisi is a legal researcher specializing in Intellectual Property Rights and emerging areas of Technology Law. She has qualified the UGC NET examinations in December 2024 and June 2025, completed her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, and holds an LL.B. from the University of Delhi (2024) and a Bachelor’s degree in B.A. Programme from Miranda House Teaching Centre, University of Delhi.
Her research interests include Tech Law, Metaverse governance, and the protection of Human Rights in digital spaces. She is currently working on a research paper titled “Human Rights in the Metaverse” under the guidance of Assistant Professor Noorjahan Momin, Jamia Millia Islamia.
Beyond research, Alisha actively engages in social impact work. She serves as Treasurer at Talim O Tarbiyat Foundation, an NGO having vision of building ” World Class Library” in underprivileged area , she is volunteer to teach for India Programme, and has worked closely with family courts to gain practical insights into child protection. She is particularly committed to understanding child psychology and promoting safety, empowerment, and rights for women and children
