TEST SERIES DETAILS
Rajasthan Judicial Services Exam Overview: The RJS selection involves three successive stages:
- Preliminary Examination – a qualifying objective test
- Main Examination – descriptive written papers assessing legal acumen
- Viva-Voce (Interview) – personal assessment of judicial temperament and communication skills
Prelims Examination Pattern-
- Format: 100 multiple-choice questions (OMR-based)
- Marks: 100 (70% Law syllabus, 15% Hindi, 15% English)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Negative Marking: None
- Qualifying Nature: Marks not included in final merit; sectional cut-offs apply.
Main Examination Structure-
- Paper I – Civil Law (100 marks, 3 hours)
- Paper II – Criminal Law (100 marks, 3 hours)
- Paper III – Hindi Essay & Precis (50 marks, 2 hours)
- Paper IV – English Essay & Precis (50 marks, 2 hours)
- Descriptive: Concept-based answers, judgment writing, charge framing.
Interview Stage-Marks: 35
